Michael R. Clark, D.D.S.

Periodontist

Dr. Clark specializes in Periodontal and Implant Surgery. He earned his Doctorate at Case Western Reserve University in 1983. He earned his Periodontal Specialty Certification at the University of California San Francisco. Dr. Clark is a graduate of the Misch International Implant Institute in both surgery and prosthetics. He has had advanced training in bone grafts and implant placement with Arun Garg, Michael Pikos, Carl Misch, Craig Misch, Don Callen, Dennis Smiler, Ady Palti, Axel Kirsh and other nationally known dental surgeons.

Dr. Clark has been in full time private practice since 1983 in Northern California and has successfully operated over 7,000 full mouth periodontal surgical procedures. He has placed over 1,000 implants over his career. In addition he has extensive experience with Periodontal Plastic Surgery. He is a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and a Fellow in the International College of Dentists. He is a former member of the California Dental Association Board of Trustees, served as President of his local dental society in Northern California, and as President of his Rotary Club in 2005.

Dr. Clark moved to Oceanside, CA in 2007 where he and his wife Lora enjoy travel, golf, and raising exotic dogs.
